Just in Queso Foundation raises $46,417 to help build disabled veteran’s home
On Saturday March 6, 2010, the Just in Queso Foundation presented Building Homes for Heroes with a check for $46,417 as part of a groundbreaking ceremony in Orlando, Florida. The Just in Queso Foundation, the non-profit arm of Tijuana Flats, raised the funds during its’ annual holiday campaign through the sale of the restaurant’s five dollar bottle of “Smack My Ass & Call Me Santa!” special edition hot sauce.
Since 1995, the Just in Queso Foundation has been providing aid to individuals, communities and organizations throughout the nation. All of the proceeds of the holiday campaign will go toward the ongoing renovation of the home of wounded Iraq War veteran Army Staff Sergeant William Castillo.
