Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your support of the 2nd Annual Building Homes for Heroes Golf Classic. The event was a tremendous success. I’m forever grateful for your assistance in helping our heroes as they overcome obstacles on their road to recovery. We’re happy to announce that the 2nd annual golf outing and dinner generated more than $150,000.

Those in attendance were able to meet Staff Sergeant Jason Pepper, his wife Heather and daughter Naomi. Thanks to extreme generosity, The Pepper family is currently living in their dream home in Tennessee. We’re happy to announce that Heather gave birth to the newest member of the family, Cheyanne Noelle, on October 29.

We also heard a videotaped thank you from Naval Reservist Pete Herrick. Additionally, both Pete’s dad and father-in-law were on hand, at the golf outing, to serve as volunteers, and to thank all of you for making life a little easier for their family. Thanks to your contributions, Pete, his wife Diana, and their two children, will be moving into their new home in Florida early in 2007.

Those in attendance were able to hear from some of the men and women who have returned home with serious injuries; some with the loss of limbs, others with horrific burns, and others with the loss of sight. They are just a few, among tens of thousands, who have returned home from Iraq and Afghanistan with debilitating injuries. They need our help.

As these brave men and women continue to give so much to our country, let’s continue to honor and support them in return. We hope that we can count on your support during next year’s golf classic and future events. Thank you for all of your support, friendship and patriotism.

Best Regards,

Andy Pujol

**Please mark your calendar! Next year’s golf outing will be held on September 17th at the Hempstead Country Club. If you have any thoughts regarding additional ways to support our heroes in the future, please feel free to contact us.
