FIRST ANNUAL COOKHOUSE CRUISE

On Sunday September 20, 2009, Building Homes for Heroes took part in an event in Connecticut called “The Cookhouse Cruise.”  This event was made possible by Tony Sigillito, a member of the Board of Directors of Building Homes for Heroes.  The event was a great way to see vintage automobiles and motorcycles at The Cookhouse Restaurant in New Milford.  The Cookhouse is a big hit among local barbecue lovers.

The event not only raised $1,000 for the severely wounded men and women of the military, it provided Building Homes for Heroes with another opportunity to spread awareness and make new contacts.  Special thanks to Y105 Radio for all of the recognition and promotion.

We would like to say thank you to Tori, Deb, Alexa, Bob, Rob and Dan, and, of course, a special thank you to Tony for making this happen!

Proceeds from the Cruise Benefit Wounded and Disabled American Soldiers

Credit Cards Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card

Proceeds from the event will help to build hopes and homes for the severely wounded and disabled men and women of the United States military.
