Our Board of Directors
Andy Pujol

Andrew Pujol
President, Chairman of the Board

Andy Pujol is owner and president of VIP International, an international transportation company located in Valley Stream, NY.  He has owned and operated the organization for 10 years.  VIP specializes in handling brand name apparel clientele.  The organization has been one of the most proactive participants in C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism).  One of VIP’s initiatives is to be a leader in cargo security.

After the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, Andy joined thousands of New Yorkers who volunteered in the rescue effort at the World Trade Center site.  While it turns out that this event was one of the underlying reasons for the formation of Building Homes for Heroes, it wasn’t until a few years down the line that the idea of helping severely wounded men and women of the United States Military became his passion.  After a couple years of volunteering and contributing to a similar group, Andy decided to form his own charitable organization, Building Homes for Heroes.

As president of the organization, Andy oversees the day to day operations.  Along with members of the board, he acts alongside some of the veterans assisted by the Charity in a continued effort to assist severely wounded or disabled military personnel and their families.
